2 yrs 2 week: 6-13-09

This week, Grandma Ruth came over to visit and brought the boys a musical chicken and horse. The boys had a lot of fun playing with the stuffed livestock! We also attended a Mom's Club New Member event. This marks my second year as a member. The boys enjoyed playing the sandbox and the other activities provided for them.

Carmen and I got together and went to the Aquarium of the Pacific. I was hosting a Mom's Club Event there. We walked around for a few hours checking out some the tanks we rarely get a chance to see on other visits. Bryant has become more mobile and enjoys standing up and following the fish and the boys.

For a couple of minutes each day we have story time at our home. The boys pick ONE book for the basket and sit down and "read" to each other. In the photo above, Max is explaining to Eli what was going on in the picture. When I was pregnant, I used to read aloud my favorite magazines, Sunset and Bon Appetit, which is kind of funny now, because the boys really take a liking to those magazines and enjoy when I read recipes and gardening articles!
