The boys went Christmas Caroling to a Retirement Community. I have bad memories of visting Elderlies when I was little. The "home" was more of a hospital with no windows and it had an off smell and all the people wanted to give me hugs (i didn't like hugs- as a child)... So when the mom's club had an event, I thought I'd give it another try as an adult and a new experience for the boys... I for sure thought the thunder storm was a sign for me to stay home, however, I said if I can't find parking, that will be my true sign to go home... I found parking right in front and at that exact moment, the clouds parted and the rain stopped! I walked in holding my breath, but as Carrie and Rose greated me, I smiled and air crepted into my nose and it smelled nice. Eli ran up to a complete strange and hugged him! Suddenly I looked around and the place was as gentle and warm as the elderly in it! Bruce and Cruise sang songs which were led by Carrie. The boys marched around a coffee table with musical insturments. I had as much fun as the boys did, and am excited about attending next year too!
