Both babies enjoy spending a few minutes in the morning and evening on their stomachs. They raise their heads and pedal their feet. Max has begun to combine this technique with rolling over. I place them in the crib together at night. By their next feeding, I’ll usually find that they’ve freed themselves from the swaddle blanket. Just a few days ago, I found Max not only uncovered, but he had rolled himself to the other side of the crib. Luckily he turned face up. I have been placing rolled up blankets on the side of them, to prevent my rollie-pollies from rolling at night. They are also learning self-soothing. I place a pacifier in their mouths and after a few minutes they pop it out and fall asleep. Max enjoy starring at the ceiling fan and Sergio enjoys looking at Eddies facial expressions. Both babies have upgraded from preemie clothes to newborn 0-3 and they’ve also gone up to size 1 in diapers!
