On Sunday, Jan 27, we went to eat at the Elephant Bar in Downey. My dad wanted to go there for his birthday.
This week, we didn’t get a chance to take to many pictures because; by the time we came home the babies were asleep. In the morning, when they get up for their 4 am feeding, Ed would bring them to the bed with us, and we would all snuggle together to get some family time. It is funny that Sergio wants to babble and play at 4 am. Max hugs him, and the both babies fall asleep again. By 7am, we are all up and rushing! Lourdes (the nanny) feeds the babies breakfast, and Eddie and I kiss them good-bye and off to work we go.
Ed took a couple of days off this week and bought the babies more toys! The twins take turns riding their wild Pato Lucas II (duck).
Tuesday, I noticed Sergio had a new milestone. He would stick his tongue way out and touch his chin. He noticed that I found it amusing and would mimic him. Max has learned to crawl like a soldier sneaking around on the floor. He is now crawling with lightening speed, especial on our wooden floors!
On Thursday, Lourdes took the day off and Liz spent the day working from Grandma Petra’s house with the boys. Max kept pulling on the telephone wire. Sergio kept tossing the “safety” pillows around. Grandpa Gerardo made a huge play area in his living. He placed a mattress on the floor and surrounded it by the couches’ pillows. We took to bins of toys to their house and grandpa had some more toys for them too.
On Friday, the babies were up late playing, we took pictures of them on Pato Lucas. It was past midnight and they still wanted to play. We took them to their room and after a few tears, they fell asleep.
Saturday, they turned 8 months and almost every client that was placing a new baby dependent on their taxes; I told them about my boys. We are pretty close to our clients, and most of them have seen me literally grow up at Petra Business Services. I had been working and in charge of the electronic refund since 1995, when we had to take the rapid refunds to another company, they would process the paper work and then brought the check to our clients. Soon our boys will be there helping out.
Carmen and Phil both babysat, YEAH! Hopefully they have as much fun playing with them as we do!
