While we are very excited to see the babies crawl, it is a challenge to be chasing two babies going in different directions! Max moves faster without socks on and even uses all his toes to grip the ground and push forward. Sergio lifts himself as if doing push-ups and rolls around at top speeds!
This week’s routine: they would spend the morning and noon at Celia’s (David’s mom’s home). Then at about 3:30pm, we would take them to the babies’ grandparent’s Lupe and Lucia’s home. At about 9pm, we would pick them up and go home. Since they are taking long naps at Celia’s home, they are awake and playing at 10pm.
At 4am, we take both babies their bottles and place them in their crib. Eli is usually awake waiting for his formula to arrive. He tends to be more energetic at 5:00am. We can hear him babbling away and trying his hardest to wake up Max. By 7am, Max is drinking his bottles and playing with Eli. We change their diapers and place them on their play area while we get ready for work. Putting a diaper on Sergio has become an intense event. As I tape on side of the diaper, he untapes it, then I retape it as he is untaping the other side! His greates joy is to be nude!
By the time we return to check on them, Max is usually half way out of their nursery and entering the hallway. Eddie placed a big fluffy carpet and pillow at the doorway to stall them from exiting their room. We picked them up and ge them ready for Celia’s house.
