This week was a lot of fun! We had electrical problems in our bedroom so we spent the week in our living room. The first two nights we had a slumber party with the boys. It was very uncomfortable. Max kept rolling around from one side of the bed to the other. Sergio kept trying to sneak away and play with the duck rocker. We constantly had to move them to the center of the bed. Like clock work, Eli got up at 4am for his morning drink and he did not go back to sleep he played and played until Max woke up. Ed and I both agreed that it was tiring trying to sleep with them.
The next day, they were playing on our bed and fell asleep before we could take them to their room. So we figure it would be okay for them to sleep with us again. WRONG! As soon as we settled in, they started to roll around and we went another night without sleep.
So on the third day, as we saw them yawning and getting cranky, we took them to their bed gave them their bottle. Finally some good night sleep!
This time last year, I was so excited to feel them kicking moving. I remember eating so tacos and putting some habanero sauce on them. They tasted so good, until my babies began to digest the food. They exploded into a crazy frenzy! I start to get heart burn and all the kicking both babies were doing; I could not even sit or stand. My stomach looked like a giant starfish dancing in circles! Seeing them play and move around in the outside world is so much funnier!
During play time at the Parenting Class, Max went inside the tunnel and crawled until he came out the other end. I was there to cheer him on! He went through it twice in a row and then rewarded himself with a small nap. Sergio pulled himself into sitting position.
