Week 34: Baby Proofing! 1-26-08

Both babies keep passing the cold to one another. One gets better, the other one gets sick. Now I have a strong cough too! As the week drew to the end so did the sickness, everyone began to feel a lot better by Friday. They have been teething since they were about 4 months old and still no teeth have popped out! Their gums are hurting them so much. Since the boys are exploring more, I have placed special things on the sockets and doors and kitchen cabinets. At first, I thought, do I really need to baby proof? Then Max started to notice the decorations on the wall and between them is a light socket. I’m so glad I took a few minutes to plug up those holes!

On Monday, I went to purchase their Easter outfits. I struggled to find a bunny outfit for 9-12 month olds. They no longer have cute baby clothes for 12 month olds, the clothes is more for tiny men. No more fuzzy pajamas and no more baby blue onesies for these boys…(sighing)

On Tuesday, Eddie sent the day with the babies and I went to work. They made it a movie day. Eddie and the boys lounged around watching movies. Eddie also bought some more learning toys. These are their new favorite toys to play with and drool on.

On Wednesday, I bought them some Dr. Seuss books. Green Eggs and Ham is my all time favorite. I can still recite most of the pages by heart. They read along with me. They love their squishy book because it has picture of us and their grandparents Gerardo and Petra.

On Saturday, Phil babysitted them. It was so cool, he would send us pictures of the babies through out the day. The pictures made are day go by so much smoother at work.
