Week 46: Grillin' and Chillin' 4-19-08

Taxes are finally over! We are able to relax and enjoy each other's company. On April 16, Ed threw a bbq for the PBS staff and family. Karina and her family (along with Soledad) arrived on time. My family arrived well after 7pm. Phil dropped by then, my mom Petra and grandma Carmen showed up, them my dad Gerardo. Late but not least, Lucy, and her girls came over. We ate with Karina and her family and then again when our family showed up. Eat had a feast of a good time.

On Thursday, Ed, Liz and the boys went to the kidspace. We walked around and got wet with the water jumpers and the creek. Max had pooped, so he didn't go into the water like Eli. I wanted to take Max and change his diaper, but he cried everytime I tried picking him up to take him to the stoller. Since we were only going to be at the creek for a few minutes, I just let him be. Both babies loved splashing the water with thier feet.

On Friday, grandpa Gerardo watched the boys. They always have a ton of fun at grandpa's. When grandma Petra came home from work, they went out for dinner to Acapulco's Mexican Restuarant.

On Saturday Apr 19th, EARTH DAY: Liz and the boys returned to kidspace, for the Butterfly Release. Although we did not release our own butterflies there, we saw a lot of people release their butterflies! Juanita, Valerie and Alexis (Peanut) met up with us there. In celebration of earth day, Eli wore a world peace shirt! Max sported a green frog shirt which represented the most sensitive animal that is being endangered by global warming.
