On Dec 8th, Ed took us to eat at Blight (sp?) in uptown where the cuisine is Modern Californian- enfuised with Spain. The boys loved it, from the paella to lamb to the cheese plate! We were lucky no one else was there with kids because we used up all 2 of their highchairs.
On Friday, we went down to hang out at Grandpa and Grandma's home in Downey. They loved helping grandpa with his decorations. Eli wanted grandpa to carry him while he was on top of the ladder. Max enjoyed riding the camel. He's as tall as wise men in the Nativity scene.
On Saturday, Grandma Petra, Carmen, Phil and Bryant came out to see us at the Whittier Parade! David and Carina drove to our home to hang out and when they saw we weren't home, they called Ed and also joined us in the parade. Afterward we headed to IHOP for a breakfast since we were all super hungry! Thank goodness it didn't rain on our parade (just a lite drizzle at the end).
