Daisy had her 1st Holy Communion this week. Ed and I were the god parents. I can tell spring has arrived by all the parties blooming: from baby showers, weddings, birthday parties. It seems like every week something is going on. Sometimes there are 3 events in one weekend!
During the week however, everything seems to slow down (except for the boys). Melisa and I went to Petsmart with the babies. Lucky for her, Lina slept the whole time. Eli was so excited to see the dogs, he ran around the isles twice! Max and Eli got a close look at the guinea pigs (thanks to Melisa who picked them up...over and over and over again). On Mother's Day, Ed surprised me with a basket of flowers that the boys both carried to me. (so cool). I tried taking a picture of them holding the basket, but they were more interested in pulling out the flowers. We also managed to squeeze in going to the Hawaiian Festival (by sheer coincidence). We left Geezer's and out in front at Heritage Park was a luau party! I purchased a Hawaiian cookbook and now that my new kitchen is in place (after two years of eating al fresco) maybe I'll bake up some pineapple upside down cake!
