While it should still be spring, it feels more like summer. The first tomato to semi turn orange, Max picked, and shared part with Eli. They also picked all the raspberries (ripe and not). They are eyeing the emerging pomegrants which has warned them several times over not to pick. We went to Blue Hill Nursery (our favorite garden hangout) with Melisa and Lina. Lina usually rides in the shoping cart with Eli since Max is usually bugging her while she sleeps. We went and purchased a blueberry bush and the "non soil mix" that goes with it.
The weather has been incredibly hot! I had to repurchase a kiddie pool since the other one had turned into a radish/beet/finger carrot pot. The boys dug up the radishes while helping me turn the soil. They ate almost all of the root vegies with leaves and all! When not outdoors causing trouble, they are indoors chilling. They enjoy playing Guitar Hero as much as I do.
