We go out to eat, only to cook our own food!

I know it sounds funny to say "let go out and cook our own food" but at the Korean Tea Lighthouse in Brea, that's just what you do and it's fun! We've been coming here since I was preg. with the boys. They love the egg pancake and tongue and bbq ribs with the rice. We love the kimchi and moo-chi (pickled daicon radish), not to be mistaken with mochi (japan's ice cream). While this isn't a commercial for the place, they do have a great deal going on right now, all you can eat for 13.99- usually the trays are about 60 bucks. It was nice to go out and eat dinner as a family, we haven't done that for a few weeks.
We went to a Taco Truck in LA, the kind where you sit on milk crates and wait in long lines to be served very soft, just-made tortillas. The boys ate their tacos and two of mine and still wanted more, so Ed told them to say, "Otro Taco Mas, Por favor." The boys got up and went straight to the ordering window and they said it! They sound so cute when they speak Spanish!!! The man glanced at Ed just to make sure it was okay they get another taco and Ed nodded with agreement. I think these tacos are truly in their blood, because when I was pregnant, I would eat there everyday. The taco guy even gave me the number so I could call in my order ahead of time and not have to wait in line. They have the best habanero salsa in the world- it's spicy and makes my ears steam- but it's so worth it! they have mild salsa too, for the faint of heart.
Funny moment: this week Max's teacher asked them, "Where is your dad?" and Max replied, "he's sleeping" and she said, "Oh, at home?" Confidently Max said, "No, at work."

Maybe you should eat in and have someone else cook your own food??

I've never gone out to cook my own food. I am of the thinking that when I go out, I want someone else to cook. However, that looks fun!
