I was so excited over what Mother's Day was going to be like at the boys school, I woke them up extra early, made them pancakes and headed off to school. We were one of the first to have our picture taken with Ms. Angie. Then I dropped the boys off and went to pick up our Special Picnic Lunch at Laura's Cafe. She made us her famous Chicken Salad Sandwich with potato salad sides, 2 chocolate chip cookies and a small bag of chips. Then I headed back to the boys school, where all the moms were waiting for the celebration to begin. When the boys saw me, they ran and sat on top of lap. Ms DeAnna was close by, so when it was their class's turn to go up on stage she lifted them up and began signing. Almost immediately Max and other boy ran back to their seats, but Eli stayed and sang his song! After all the classes went up, Ms Angie read a story, "I love you forever!". Tears ran down my face as the mom grew old and her son had to care for her. Afterward, we were dismissed for lunch and given bubbles as party favors. When the boys were done with their food, they blew bubbles and played in the swings. By the end of lunch time, they headed down to the auditorium for a noon nap, and I came home floating with glee! I had such a special day with them, the teachers and staff really go out of their way at this school, it's unbelievable!
Since they have been fixing up our yard, Ed rented a "Monster Truck" and the boys really took a liking to it! This is one of their favorite pics, I had it for a long time as a background picture on my computer, so I'd thought to share it.
