Week 21: There are Tinsters in our Home! 10-27-07

From time to time, I look back at my old blogs and try and figure out in what weeks I can see a difference in the babies. For example from week 4 to week 5, I can see the babies became fuller. One night, we roll the babies sleeves because their pajamas are too big. A few nights later, when I try and snap their pajamas closed, they no longer fit! The tiny squeaky door and cute piglet sounds have been replaced LOUD wails of attention hogging tinsters (tinsters are TINy monSTERS)! But the vocal ness is not all bad. I can hear the word Mommmum, and Dddaddddyyy in their mumbles. I would love to write that they have called me “Mom,” but I know that right now it’s just sounds they are making.

They also love to play with my fingers. I wiggle my index finger and they reach for it. Then, I stop wiggling that finger and move my pinky. With their other hand they reach for my pinky. We can play that game for almost and hour. I also put finger puppets on and make up a story. They look at the puppet as if were alive. Sometimes they reach for the puppet and begin to chew on it even if I am still attached to it! I love it that they do not need high tech toys to play and interact with. They are learning to play with what they have.
They cry with such sentiment! I guess who would not with volcanic teeth about to explode out of their gums! Any suggestions to easy the pain?

We went to Parnell Park's zoo and Salsa the Burrito playfully grabbed Max's blanket as I was taking the photo. I quickly put the camera down because it quickly became a tug-o-war between a burro and a baby!
