Experts write, “Who knew sitting up was such a challenge? While your little one has been sitting with support for several months, around now he'll finally stop using his arms (or yours) for balance. Once his hands are free, he'll be able to twist around, reach over, and pick things up. He'll also learn to sit himself up by rolling over and pushing on one side. Don't be surprised if he carefully maneuvers himself to a sitting position, then drops back down and repeats the whole process just for fun.”
On Wednesday, the babies had their 6 month vaccine appointment. They also received their flu shots. Thank goodness we do not have to return until they turn one! They were some what irritable from the shot the rest of the day. Eddie came home early from work to help ease their pain. We gave them lots of hugs, kisses and medicine.
Max and Eli are scooting them selves around. Max tucks his legs under his belly and pushes them out to inch forward. Eli enjoys his toys more and prefers to play then eat. Both babies are great eaters! They enjoy corn, black beans, and yogurt, baguette bread.
Carmen (my sister) joined Eddie, the babies and I on Saturday for “Breakfast with Santa” at the Whitwood mall, but it was canceled due to the rain from the previous day. Eddie went to work and Carmen stayed with the babies and me for a “hang out” day. The babies became fussy because their reindeer outfits began to warm them up since it was a sunny day. Auntie Carmen bought them long sleeve comfy shirts at Old Navy. We had so much fun walking and hanging out! Thank you Carmen! Later, Eddie returned from work. We went to the Holiday Sonata, were we took photos with Santa Claus!
