Eddie, the babies and I are still under the weather. So when we went out to Joe’s crab shack for my birthday dinner, my parents took care of them. They also spent Christmas night at my parents’ home because we left their home past midnight. This is the first week they are spent the night away from home since before grandma Petra’s Surgery.
Both babies babble with expression as if trying to tell me something. They are laughing and communicating with each other. On Christmas Eve, I place Santa Claus hats on them, to take some Christmas pictures. When I placed the hats on them, they were facing each other and both babies began to laugh uncontrollably! I change my camera setting to video and recorded this spontaneous event! I stopped recording and just savored in “their first” giggles of each in silly hats. Sergio was laughing so hard, he could not hold his balance and topple over to the side. He would straighten his hand begin laughing of roll over to the other side! Max was capable of holding himself straight. He would try and reach out for Sergio’s hat while giggling! As cheesy as this sounds; this truly was my favorite of all Christmas gifts!
The babies are interacting more with each other!! By the end of the week, everyone is feeling better! With “tax season” just around the corner, we are looking for someone to watch the babies.
