On Monday, Eddie took the boys for a walk and a hair cut. Ed even asked the hair stylist to take pictures of them in the salon! The stylist gave each of the boys a "first hair cut" certificate and attached some of their hair to it. You can finally see Max's ears and Eli is missing his mohawk. Afterward, Ed strolled them to the park where they played on the swings.
Tuesday, Grandpa Gerardo stayed with the boys, while Eddie went to finish up the house and I went to work. Grandpa and the boys stayed indoors and played.
Wednesday, Liz stayed with the boys and we went to the nearby park. The heat started rising very early in the morning, we raced back (to our temp) home. The boys played and I tried to scrapbook.
Thursday, grandpa and Liz, stayed home with the babies and Ed took one for the team and worked. We thought it would be fun to check out some live fishes and otters so we went to our favorite place! We added grandpa to our Aquarium of the Pacific Steward Circle membership so he can return with the boys as many times as he wants for free! We had lots of fun seeing the sea lions and sting rays. One sting ray in particular was very friendly so we took pictures with him.
Friday, grandma Petra did not go to work so she and grandpa Gerardo took care of the babies so that I could go and help Eddie around the house. Then grandma Petra asked me to go pick up our Tia Maria so she could visit for the weekend. When I arrived from East La with her, Ed was also returning to Downey. We went to see Get Smart at the Kirkorian, which was such a great treat since we have not had a movie date in such a long time.
Saturday morning I inflated the Elephant Pool and poured in the water. By 6:30pm there was enough shaded, daylight and the water was still warm for the boys to "swim". Eli wanted to be half in the pool and the bottom half on the picnic blanet. By the time he overcame his fear of the inflated palm tree and decided to play, the picnic blanket was filled with more water than the pool! Max had a blast in the water. He was tring to get in before he had his swimsuit on. Grandpa Gerardo threw in some plastic sharks he had bought them at the aquarium. So the boys played with thier toys until the sunset!
