1 Year Week 2: Tooting our Horn! 06-14-08

Many months ago, we went to Catch and Release Event with Juanita, Val and Peanut. Juana bought us all kazoobie kazoos. The babies just drowled and chewed on the kazoos, so i packed them in my bag and forgot about them. Then the day we went to Disney, I dumped out all the stale crackers, loner socks and expired coupons I usually tote around. As all my misc items spilled out, so did the kazoos. Rushing out, I threw sock and kazoos into the babies play area and everything else got trashed. My mind cleared almost as quickly as my bag and I forgot about the kazoos. Then one day, I heard a flock of old geese and ducks in my parents living as I was upstairs washing clothes. I ran to our temp room and was able to capture footage with my camera. Now, I keep their kazoos in their jogging stroller and the "honk" at people as we pass by. It is thier favorite "new" toy of the week!

On Thursday, we finally made it to our downey baby class. The boys had a chance to play in the sand and they made a father's day card.

On Friday we were going to go to Disneyland, but we had some unforseen events occur and we decided to go to the Kidspace Museum. Isaiah, joined us for a day filled with water splashing and lots of playing, running and jumping! Eli and Max both were able to drink juice using a straw! Last week they blew bubbles and found it difficult to get the fluid all the way up the straw. They seem to be better at drinking using a straw then tilting their head all the way back using sippy cups.

On Saturday, we spent the morning at the park and Michelle came by for Isaiah in the afternoon. Overall all three of the boys got along and had fun playing together. Auntie Carmen came by while the boys napped and she showed me some cool tips on editing photos. Soon after, Eddie arrived and we went to Edari's Birthday Party. He's Max and Eli's friend from school. Just as the stars began to appear, we hurried over to Lowes to buy paint for our bedroom then rushed home to water our yard, feed the dogs and pony. We found Panfilo "horsing" around Eddie's Veggie Garden.
