On Monday, Granpa and Grandma Castillo went with Liz and the babies to the AOTP (Aquiruim of the Pacific). We thought it would be a nice place to hang out since it was hot outside. I guess a lot of people thought the same way becuase it was supper crowded, even us "VIP circle" members had to wait in a slightly long line! Once inside, things went more smoothly. At about 4pm, the crowds left and we went to enjoy the bird feeding. Grandma Petra attracted about three birds! The boys really enjoy the fish and other sea creatures. Just before leaving, the boys were going to take a picture with their grandparents at the big fish tank. As soon as grandpa Gerardo picked up Eli, he fell asleep!
Tuesday, Eli finally sat on the potty seat and even took a book to read (just like his dad)!
Wednesday I looked through our photos to see which one would work best for their party invites. None seemed right, so I snapped new pics of them, they kept moving around. I decided to sit Eli on the duck and Max then next to him, to my amazement, it work!
Thursday was our baby class potluck day! The boys seemed to have gotten along peacefully with other kids. Eli sat down to "read" and a few babies sat around to listen. That was such a cute moment! Max kept crawling under the seats and into the closet "exploring." Like the boys, I too am making more friends, last class program, I met Beth and we have gone out several time on "play dates" and this class session, I really bonded with Maribel, Esperansa, Candice and Joy! I'm so glad we continued with the program!
Friday, we took a stroll in Downey and met some of our "temp neighbors". Uncle Phil and Auntie Carmen came down to visit in the afternoon.
